Juan Carlos holds a Diploma in Geoestatistical Evaluation of Mineral Deposits from the University of Chile in 2013, and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Valparaíso in 2009. Recently, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Geoestatistics from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in 2022, led by Professor Clayton Deutsch.
As a member of the exploration team at Goldberg Resources since 2010, he has been responsible for the analysis of spatial data and integration with other surface or subsurface information. This has allowed him to develop strategies, perspectives, reports, and recommendations for geochemical planning, target identification, resource estimation, drilling campaigns, and data quality management.
Juan Carlos is passionate about using GIS (Geographical Information Systems) tools, and has developed expertise in multivariate data analysis and estimation of mineral resources using propietary and open source software.
